Our mission statement as UConn's own student record label is to foster student musicians by producing their music, building their brand, growing their fanbase, and booking them live performances and other related events. We will provide a medium for which aspiring student artists can go to for help in accomplishing musical success.

JR SPECS - Stepback!
JR SPECS is a Hip-Hop artist from Hampden, Maine who always seems to bring a new refreshing style to each project he puts out. With his third mixtape, Stepback!, JR delivers his best work yet, as he finds a perfect combination between powerful hooks, and his notorious ability to spit crazy bars. His talent is emphasized on the many bangers found on the album, such as the hard-hitting track, Rocket, featuring another Maine native, ZAE. JR shows up with nasty bars and flows on tracks such as Brainfreeze, and then brings it back down to Earth with the ambient feels of Glass House III. It's no doubt JR SPECS came through with bang on this project, and it's evident that he's only getting started.
